The ebony fingerboard is in outstanding condition with very minimal fret wear. The Ovation Magnum Bass, this one from 1978, is built like a battleship. The headstock is surprisingly clean as well for a vintage instrument. The body and neck finish is close to flawless with only a very few small scuffs and minor scratches. Sonically, it's all there - from vintage deep warmth to Jah Wobble dub to Tool style aggression.
